Ambassador Tipu Pays Tribute to Pakistan’s Founding Fathers in Tehran

ISLAMABAD, August 17, 2025 — Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, solemnly paid tribute to the founding fathers of Pakistan during a ceremony at Pakistan House, Tehran, commemorating both Independence Day and the victories of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.

Honour Amid Religious Observance

The ceremony took place after a postponement due to the observance of Arbaeen in Iran, underscoring the significance of both national pride and religious respect. Pakistani community members in Iran and embassy officials attended the event.

Celebrating Armed Forces & Diaspora Contributions

Ambassador Tipu lauded the exemplary courage of Pakistan’s armed forces, praising their readiness to defend the nation’s frontiers. He highlighted their instrumental role in the success of Marka-e-Haq in May 2025

He also thanked the Pakistani diaspora in Iran for their notable contributions to socio-economic collaboration and the strengthening of bilateral ties. Acknowledging the visit of President Pezeshkian, Ambassador Tipu affirmed mutual goals of increasing trade volume to $10 billion, noting the diaspora’s pivotal role in achieving this milestone.

Ambassador Tipu emphasized that Pakistan, despite facing numerous challenges since independence, has persevered through collective dedication and divine guidance, emerging as a modern, progressive state with a distinguished status in the global community.
