ISLAMABAD, Aug 12 — Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised Pakistan’s security forces for successfully eliminating three Indian-backed militants during an operation in Balochistan’s Zhob district, calling it a major achievement in the fight against cross-border terrorism. The minister said the terrorists, referred to as “Fitna-e-Hindustan”, were involved in destabilizing activities aimed at spreading unrest in Balochistan and were directly linked to Indian support networks. “The professional excellence and dedication of our security forces are a source of pride for the entire nation,” Naqvi stated.“This operation has thwarted a dangerous conspiracy to sabotage peace in the province. The whole nation stands united with our forces for the complete elimination of Indian-sponsored terrorism.” According to official details, the militants were planning targeted attacks to create instability, but timely intelligence and swift action by security agencies neutralized the threat.
