DG ISPR Clarifies COAS Did Not Speak to Any Journalist
Rawalpindi, August 21, 2025 – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has clarified that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir did not give any interview to journalists. He termed an article by Suhail Warraich as an act of self-promotion.

The DG ISPR addressed claims related to an event in Brussels, stating no discussions on PTI or apologies occurred. He emphasized bringing May 9 perpetrators to justice and highlighted Pakistan’s resilience against attacks, including those backed by India.
