Astana, August 21, 2025, 10:13 AM PKT – The Senates of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have approved a 2025-2026 roadmap for cooperation. The agreement was signed during a meeting between Senate Chairwoman Tanzila Narbayeva and Chairman Maulen Ashimbayev in Astana.

The roadmap focuses on advancing political, economic, and cultural ties, with key areas including water-energy, transport-logistics, and digitalization. It aims to boost bilateral trade to $10 billion by 2030, building on existing parliamentary oversight initiatives.
