MDA Accelerates Construction of 22 Modern Bus Shelters in Multan
The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has intensified efforts to complete the construction of 22 modern bus shelters across the city, with five now fully operational as of August 23, 2025. The initiative aims to enhance public transport facilities and provide citizens with comfortable waiting areas.
According to an MDA spokesperson, the shelters, designed to reflect Multan’s culture and weather, are being built at a cost of Rs. 5 million each.
Director MDA Rana Waseem reported that nine shelters are under construction by the authority, while ten are being developed by the private sector, with completion expected soon.
