Erdogan Palestine support
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed Türkiye’s unwavering support for Palestine during an Ankara summit on August 29, 2025, following his Victory Day message condemning oppression in Gaza.
The summit, attended by regional leaders, focused on humanitarian aid and diplomatic solutions.
Erdogan told NEN,
“Türkiye will stand by Palestine until justice prevails.” He announced a $10 million aid package for Gaza, emphasizing accountability for Israeli actions, and urged global unity for a two-state solution.
Pakistan’s envoy expressed solidarity, echoing the call.
The summit proposed an OIC-led peace initiative, with Türkiye hosting talks in October. Erdogan highlighted the historical bond with Palestine, pledging to protect Al-Aqsa’s status.
