Qalam Karwan Hijrah, a prominent literary organization, concluded its global series on the Migration to Madinah with a virtual session on August 29, 2025, following its special session under the Seerat-un-Nabi(SAWW) banner.
The event drew participants from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, exploring the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Hijrah.
Dr. Khalid Madni, Head of Islamic Studies at Government Postgraduate College, Sargodha, told NEN,
“This series deepened global understanding of the Hijrah’s significance.”
The session, led by Dr. Ayesha Jadoon from NUST, discussed the Muhajireen-Ansar brotherhood, with 500 attendees joining online.
A book on the topic is planned for 2026.
The organization announced monthly Seerat-un-Nabi sessions, with the next focusing on the Prophet’s governance in Madinah. Participants praised the event’s accessibility via Zoom.
“It unites our community,” said an organizer.
