Lahore Police arrested a suspect on August 31, 2025, in the murder case of Farooq Firaq’s son, following condolences from Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider, political leaders, and CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana.
The arrest was made after a targeted operation in Gulberg, based on CCTV evidence.
CCPO Kamyana told NEN,
“We’re committed to delivering justice swiftly.”
The suspect, linked to a personal dispute, is under interrogation, with forensic analysis ongoing to confirm evidence.
