99 Medical Centers Closed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Crackdown

PESHAWAR — The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission (KPHCC) has intensified efforts against quackery, sealing 99 medical facilities across the province. Over four days, KPHCC teams inspected 572 medical centers, taking action against those found to be violating regulatory standards.

Focus was placed on areas including Peshawar, Swat, Swabi, Malakand, Mansehra, Kohat, and Karak. A KPHCC spokesperson confirmed the operations, emphasizing the commitment to eliminate unqualified practitioners.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to uphold medical ethics and ensure public safety by clamping down on unauthorized medical practices.
