Nawabshah, 17 August 2025 — The National Disability and Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan celebrated a significant milestone. Its President, Abid Lashari, received a nomination for the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
President Asif Ali Zardari nominated Mr. Lashari for the prestigious Pakistan Civil Award 2025. This nomination acknowledges his dedicated efforts to improve the lives of persons with disabilities nationwide.
In addition to his role at NDF, Mr. Lashari serves as CEO of the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA). His nomination marks a monumental achievement for disability rights advocacy in Pakistan.
