QUETTA — The Balochistan government has allocated Rs 54 million for the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholarship (SBBS) and Rs 1.7 billion for the Digibizz program aimed at enhancing digital skills among the youth. This announcement was made by Provincial Finance Minister Shoaib Nosherwani during a budget session.
The two initiatives form part of the government’s broader strategy to invest in education and skill development for young people in the region. The Digibizz program is designed to equip youth with essential digital competencies, aligning with the growing demand for tech-savvy professionals in various industries.
Additionally, the session revealed that Rs 2 billion has been earmarked for the Low Cost Housing Project, indicating the government’s commitment to addressing housing needs alongside educational and skill development efforts.
