LARKANA — The 73rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was commemorated on Sunday with a blood donation camp organized by the Health Department at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto. The camp, aimed at supporting thalassemia patients, was held near the mausoleum where Bhutto is laid to rest.
Hundreds of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers participated in the donation drive, contributing blood to the cause in memory of the late leader. The event underscored the continued influence of Bhutto’s legacy in the region and her party’s commitment to social causes.
Officials noted that the blood collected would support patients suffering from thalassemia, a major health concern requiring regular blood transfusions. The initiative reflects both a tribute to Bhutto’s life and an effort to address a pressing medical need.
