ISLAMABAD — The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in India of using state machinery to oppress the population in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
APHC’s Accusations
Abdul Rashid Minhas, spokesman for the APHC, recently released a statement from Srinagar via the Kashmir Media Service. He highlighted the serious concerns regarding the repression faced by the IIOJK population under BJP rule.
Impact of Government Policies
The statement sheds light on the persistent tensions and unrest plaguing the region. These issues primarily stem from the stringent policies imposed by the Indian government, identified as major sources of distress for the people in IIOJK.
