LAHORE — Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is set to launch two significant publications promoting a drug-free campus and psychological first aid on Saturday. The initiative will officially implement BNU’s Drug-Free Safe Campus Model, aiming to establish it as a standard for educational institutions both nationally and internationally.
The new model aligns with guidelines established by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), World Health Organization (WHO), and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The initiative underscores BNU’s commitment to creating a safer academic environment.
The implementation of these standards marks a pivotal step in addressing substance abuse in educational settings, enhancing student well-being, and promoting a supportive educational environment at BNU.
