ISLAMABAD — Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir has announced the activation of a central control room at the DC Complex to ensure continuous monitoring throughout Muharram.
Muharram Security Measures
The dedicated control room will supervise mourning processions and gatherings during the holy month. This initiative by the district administration aims to enhance security and efficiently manage Muharram-ul-Haram events in Islamabad.
Trained personnel will be on duty around the clock, prepared to respond quickly to any emergencies or issues that might arise during the month.
Commitment to Safety
Deputy Commissioner Nasir emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability. He stated, “Ensuring safe and smooth conduct of religious activities during Muharram is our top priority.” This effort is part of a strategic plan to secure the community during this significant period.
