ISLAMABAD — Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam emphasized on Saturday that dialogue and the democratic process are the sole solutions to address the ongoing unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). Muqam’s comments come in response to the protests and sit-ins disrupting daily life in the region.
Addressing the situation in AJK, Muqam stated that the government is committed to resolving the issues through peaceful means. He highlighted the importance of maintaining open channels of communication with all stakeholders to bring stability and normalcy back to the region.
The minister reiterated the government’s stance that a democratic approach is essential for a sustainable resolution. He called on opposition groups and protestors to engage in talks, ensuring that the grievances of the people are addressed constructively.
