ISLAMABAD — Police commandos, alongside officials from Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), have transported physical boxes containing copies of the FY2026-27 federal budget into Parliament House in Islamabad.
The operation was carried out under tight security, ensuring that the budget documents reached the venue securely ahead of the official presentation. Such measures are customary to safeguard sensitive financial information until it is publicly disclosed.
The activity at Parliament House is part of the preparation for the upcoming budget session where fiscal policies and allocations for various sectors will be announced formally by the government.
