ISLAMABAD — Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, conducted a high-level consultative meeting focusing on the availability and pricing of essential fertilizers, including urea and DAP, across Pakistan. The session aimed to address concerns related to supply management to ensure stability in the agricultural sector.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss strategies for maintaining an adequate supply chain, given the critical role of fertilizers in agricultural productivity. Emphasis was placed on streamlining processes and tackling any logistical challenges that may hinder the distribution of these vital resources.
Minister Hussain underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring that farmers have timely access to reasonably priced fertilizers. He highlighted the importance of collaboration among government entities and private sector partners to achieve efficient supply management.
