An informal meeting of journalists living in Sectors G-13 and G-14 was held yesterday at the residence of senior journalist Dr. Abdul Wadood Qureshi.
The gathering was attended by Dr. Abdul Wadood Qureshi, Sarwar Munir Rao, Hilal Ahmed, Dr. Ayesha Khan, Rana Rizwan Arshad, Yasir Zubairi, and Rizwan Malik. During the meeting, participants decided to expand the group by including other journalists and columnists residing in these sectors and organizing regular get-togethers. It was unanimously agreed that the forum would remain completely non-political.
The main objective of the forum is to strengthen bonds among neighbors, promote mutual interaction, and foster a spirit of sharing joys and sorrows within the community.
Participants appreciated Dr. Abdul Wadood Qureshi’s initiative in bringing everyone together. Senior journalists Dr. Abdul Wadood Qureshi and Sarwar Munir Rao also shared valuable experiences from their careers, which greatly benefited and inspired the attendees.
