ISLAMABAD — Federal government employees will benefit from a series of financial enhancements as the government announced a 7 percent salary increase, according to Federal Secretary for Finance Imdad Ullah Bosal. The measures, revealed on Saturday, form part of the Budget 2026-27.
In addition to the salary hike, employees will also receive a 15 percent increase in their daily remuneration allowances (DRA) and a 50 percent rise in conveyance allowances. These adjustments aim to better align compensation with current economic demands.
The government also plans to merge two previous adhoc relief allowances into the basic pay structure, providing further financial stability for the employees. These moves reflect the government’s commitment to addressing the financial needs of its workforce amid ongoing economic challenges.
