Governor Kundi Highlights Role of Cadets as Future Leaders

PESHAWAR — Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted the critical role of quality education, youth empowerment, and sports in shaping future leaders. He made these remarks during a meeting with cadets from Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi, Mansehra, at the Governor’s House on Monday.

The delegation, led by Brigadier (Retd) Abdul Hafeez SI(M), the college principal, received a warm welcome from Governor Kundi. He recognized the cadets as Pakistan’s future leaders, commending the college as one of the province’s top education institutions. The governor also recalled its foundation by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

Commitment to Education and Sports

Governor Kundi expressed his commitment to supporting student welfare and advancing the college’s development. He mentioned he would send a letter to the President concerning institutional growth and promised to visit the college. The discussions focused on enhancing educational and sports opportunities for the youth, acknowledging the significant talents present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Promoting National Cricket and Opportunities

Emphasizing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s contributions to national cricket, Governor Kundi advocated for more educational and sports opportunities for young people. Addressing cadets’ queries, he praised Pakistan’s military and political leaders’ contributions to global peace. Furthermore, he proposed initiatives like subsidized electric bikes for students and expanded scholarship opportunities.
