ABBOTTABAD — Commissioner Hazara Division Fayyaz Ali Shah chaired a high-level meeting to review proposed amendments to legal rules aimed at enhancing the protection of Galiyat’s environment, scenic beauty, and cultural heritage.
The meeting attracted senior officials, including the Director General of the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) and the Additional Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department. Discussions focused on potential legal changes to better preserve the region’s natural and cultural assets.
The proposed amendments are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen safeguards for the Galiyat region, known for its picturesque landscapes and rich heritage, ensuring sustainable development and environmental conservation.
