LAHORE — Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), attended the Thesis Display 2026 at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD). The event was held to showcase the creative works of graduating students.
Accompanying him was the Vice Chancellor of PIFD, Professor Hina Tayyaba Khalil. Together, they toured various stalls that presented an array of student projects, reflecting the innovative designs and craftsmanship of the participants.
The annual thesis display serves as a platform for emerging talent in Pakistan’s fashion and design industry, facilitating exposure to academia, industry professionals, and potential employers.
