ISLAMABAD — The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has announced the appointment of PSP officer Kainat Azhar Khan as the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Islamabad. Additionally, she assumes the role of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations for the Safe City project. This appointment was confirmed by an official from the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP).
Authorization and Responsibilities
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, authorized the appointment and transfer order for Khan. Her primary responsibilities involve efficiently managing the city’s traffic operations. Beyond this, Khan will spearhead the Safe City initiative, aimed at enhancing public safety through technological innovations and strategic planning.
