The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has extended the Chaman male center’s operations to a 24-hour schedule starting on August 28, 2025. This enhancement, which includes double shifts, aims to improve public accessibility and convenience.
Enhanced Service Capacity
The new schedule enables the processing of an additional 2,000 ID card and B-form applications daily. This change effectively addresses the rising demand in this border area.
Faster Processing Speed
Akbar Khan, NADRA Regional Head Balochistan, informed NEN, “This ensures faster services for Chaman residents.” To efficiently manage the increased demand, the center has established 12 new workstations.
Since July, 15,000 applications from families in border regions have been processed.
Expansion in Female Centers
Starting September 10, 2025, female centers will also adopt a 24-hour operation. This initiative underscores NADRA’s commitment to equitable and efficient services for all residents.
The enhancements aim to streamline the registration process for women in Chaman.
Community Response and Future Plans
Local leaders have praised NADRA Chaman’s services for significantly reducing wait times and improving service efficiency for residents who previously faced delays.
NADRA plans to deploy mobile registration vans to Chaman’s rural areas by October, intending to serve an additional 5,000 citizens in these regions.
“Accessibility is our goal,” a NADRA official stated. Stay updated at nenagency.
