The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has extended operations at the Chaman male center to a 24-hour schedule as of August 28, 2025. This enhancement features double shifts to elevate public accessibility and convenience.
Enhanced Service Capacity
The 24-hour schedule allows the processing of an additional 2,000 ID card and B-form applications daily. This change effectively addresses rising demand in the border area.
Faster Processing Speed
Akbar Khan, NADRA Regional Head Balochistan, informed NEN, “This ensures faster services for Chaman residents.” To efficiently manage increased demand, 12 new workstations have been established in the center.
Since July, 15,000 applications from families in border areas have been processed.
Expansion in Female Centers
On September 10, 2025, female centers will also transition to 24-hour operations. This initiative reaffirms NADRA’s commitment to providing equitable and efficient services for all residents.
The enhancements aim to streamline the registration process for women in Chaman.

Local leaders have praised NADRA Chaman’s services for significantly reducing wait times and improving service efficiency for residents who previously experienced delays.
Moving forward, NADRA will deploy mobile registration vans to Chaman’s rural areas by October, with plans to serve an additional 5,000 citizens.
