ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (APP): The National Language Promotion Department (NLPD) celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a vibrant flag-hoisting ceremony and a seminar titled ‘Azadi se Operation Marka-e-Haq tak’ at its headquarters in Islamabad.
Flag-Hoisting and Opening Ceremony
The ceremony began at 8:00 a.m. with Director General Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar and Chief Guest Major General (Retired) Dr. Muhammad Samrez Salik, HI (M), jointly raising the national flag. The event commenced with a Quran recitation, followed by prayers for the peace, prosperity, and security of the nation.
