Pakistan Committed to Peace, Diplomacy Amid Middle East Escalation: FO

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan has not abandoned hope for a peaceful resolution and remains committed to diplomacy despite escalating hostilities in the Middle East and a shrinking window for dialogue, the Foreign Office spokesperson said Thursday.

The spokesperson said Pakistan continues to engage regional and international stakeholders with cautious optimism, even as fresh hostilities have complicated diplomatic efforts. “We remain engaged and we work with a degree of optimism,” the spokesperson said.

Islamabad has consistently called for de-escalation in the Middle East, urging all parties to prioritise dialogue over confrontation. Pakistan’s Foreign Office has maintained regular contact with key regional actors as tensions in the region continue to intensify.
