ISLAMABAD — Pakistan exported food commodities worth $4.598 billion during the first 11 months of the current fiscal year, according to official data.
This marks a decline of 31.86 percent compared to food exports valued at $6.748 billion in the same period last year. The decrease in food group exports reflects significant challenges faced by the sector amidst various economic conditions.
Analysts indicate that shifts in global demand, logistic constraints, and domestic production issues have primarily contributed to the downturn in export figures.
