Pakistan’s Tech Exports Reach Record $4.2 Billion

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan’s technology exports hit a record $4.2 billion in the first 11 months of the fiscal year 2025-26, marking a 20 percent year-on-year increase, according to Khurram Schehzad, Advisor to the Finance Minister.

Speaking on Wednesday, Schehzad attributed the growth in the information technology sector to improved infrastructure and policy support. The record performance underscores the sector’s potential as a significant contributor to the country’s economy.

This achievement highlights the increasing global demand for Pakistani tech services and the country’s growing reputation in the international market. The government plans to continue fostering an environment conducive to further growth in this sector.
