ISLAMABAD, May 18 (NEN): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday evening held a telephonic conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani to discuss bilateral relations and the evolving situation in the Middle East, particularly ongoing peace initiatives involving Pakistan.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated Qatar’s support for Pakistan’s peace efforts and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic engagement. Both leaders emphasized the need for continued international efforts to maintain the ceasefire, avoid further escalation, and ensure regional stability.
The Prime Minister also conveyed his warm wishes and regards to the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
