GILGIT — Senior delegations from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan Peoples Party met at a hotel in Gilgit on Wednesday to discuss proposals for forming the next government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The PML-N delegation was led by Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, as both parties explored coalition arrangements following recent elections in the region.
No agreement was announced at the conclusion of the meeting, though talks are expected to continue as the two parties work toward a power-sharing arrangement acceptable to both sides.
