GUJRAT — In a major crackdown, Gujrat police conducted several successful operations, resulting in the arrest of six suspects and the seizure of narcotics, liquor, and firearms. These efforts specifically targeted drug peddlers and individuals in possession of illegal weapons.
Operations Led by SHO City Lalamusa
Inspector Nasir Mahmood, Station House Officer (SHO) of City Lalamusa, led operations across multiple locations. Under his leadership, police apprehended five individuals involved in drug trafficking and the illegal possession of weapons.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 30 litres of liquor and two pistols. The arrested suspects include:
- Irfan alias Fani
- Bilal
- Usama Sarwar
- Kashif Ali
- Muhammad Shahid
Separate Operation by SHO Bolani
Another significant operation was led by SHO Bolani, Ghulam Rasool. His team targeted and arrested an alleged drug dealer, Qaiser Zaman, recovering 1,200 grams of hashish in the process.
Cases have been registered against all suspects, and further investigations are ongoing to dismantle the broader network involved in these activities.
