Power Division Orders Uninterrupted Power During Muharram

ISLAMABAD — The Ministry of Energy’s Power Division has instructed all relevant bodies to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply during the sacred month of Muharram, focusing on the 9th and 10th days, known as Ashura. These directives were issued following orders from Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari.

The comprehensive guidelines have been dispatched to all Distribution Companies (DISCOs), the National Power Control Centre (NPCC), and the National Grid Company (NGC). The instructions aim to provide a stable power supply during the significant religious observance.

The government aims to prevent disruptions that could affect religious activities scheduled during this period.
