President Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and the people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on their Independence Day.
In his message, conveyed on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, the President highlighted the deep-rooted and cordial relations between Pakistan and Jordan, which are anchored in mutual respect, trust, and shared values. He noted that both countries share a strong understanding and convergence of views on various regional and international matters. President Zardari expressed optimism that these fraternal ties would continue to strengthen further in the coming years.
The President also recalled His Majesty King Abdullah II’s visit to Pakistan in November 2025, describing it as a significant milestone that gave fresh momentum to bilateral cooperation and deepened the bonds of friendship between the two nations.
He concluded by extending his sincere wishes for lasting peace, progress, and prosperity for the brotherly people of Jordan.
