ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday expressed gratitude to Qatar for its steadfast support of Pakistan’s peace efforts. The appreciation came during a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar.
The leaders discussed a range of issues of mutual interest during the afternoon call. The dialogue underscores the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar, focusing on enhancing cooperation in various sectors.
