ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has signed the documents for the Annual Budget 2026-27 following its approval by the Federal Cabinet. The signing took place at the Parliament House, marking a significant step in the government’s fiscal planning.
The budget, which outlines the government’s financial strategy for the upcoming fiscal year, was thoroughly discussed and approved during a special meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Sharif.
Also on the government’s agenda, Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, led a high-level consultative meeting focusing on key issues related to the availability of Urea and DAP, fertilizer pricing, and the overall supply management across Pakistan.
