LAHORE — The Punjab government has announced a significant tourism development program as part of its 2026-27 provincial budget, with an investment of Rs471 billion. This initiative aims to enhance tourism, preserve cultural heritage, attract investment, and create jobs across the region.
Investment in New Tourism Circuits
The budget includes plans to establish eight new tourism circuits. These circuits are designed to boost the local economy by increasing tourist activities and fostering economic growth throughout Punjab.
