The aim is to achieve a production target of at least two bales of cotton per acre through enhanced methods.

The Punjab government is also implementing strategies to address canal water shortages in cotton-growing areas. Additionally, they are working to raise awareness about the Kissan Card registration process, highlighting its importance in accessing agricultural subsidies and services.
