Religious Scholars Hail RCB’s Muharram Cleanliness Initiative

RAWALPINDI — The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has launched a cleanliness and drainage program in preparation for Muharram-ul-Haram, drawing praise from local citizens and religious leaders. The initiative aims to ensure a sanitary and well-maintained environment for mourners during the holy month.

Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar Aalia, Syed Sakhi Shah Pyara Kazmi, Bawa Syed Qasim Ali Shah Kazmi Al-Mashhadi, commended the RCB’s efforts in a statement. He highlighted the importance of the RCB’s actions, noting that providing a clean and safe setting for mourners reflects the administration’s commitment to public service.

RCB Chief Amir Rashid, Assistant Commissioner Cantt Saad-ur-Rehman, and other officials have been thanked for their diligent work. The Sajjada Nasheen expressed hope that such measures would continue to be implemented with consistency and thorough monitoring, ensuring no inconvenience for the mourners.

RCB officials have pledged to enhance these preparations as Muharram approaches, ensuring that sanitation and other civic facilities in the cantonment are maintained effectively.
