Rescue 1122 Intensifies Search for Woman in Chenab River

CHINIOT — Rescue 1122 teams have intensified efforts to find a 22-year-old woman who allegedly jumped into the Chenab River near the old bridge on Sargodha Road. The comprehensive search operation started on Sunday morning after the incident was reported.

Rescue officials were alerted by an emergency call about the woman entering the river under unclear circumstances. In response, they quickly deployed water rescue teams to launch a coordinated effort.

The operation involves line and boat searches at multiple points along the river. Despite extensive efforts, Rescue 1122 has not yet located the woman.

Identity of the Missing Woman

The missing woman is identified as Iram Bibi, daughter of Mirza, residing in Chak No. 44, Lalian. Specialized water rescue experts and boats continue the search.
