HYDERABAD — Retired police officials were targeted in a robbery at gunpoint in Hyderabad’s Cattle Colony on Thursday. This incident occurred within the Husri police station’s jurisdiction.
Robbery Details
Ex-DSP Muhammad Ahmed Qureshi and ex-Inspector Anwar Zaidi were attacked by three armed individuals on a motorcycle. They were headed to their cattle pen when accosted.
To intimidate the officials, the attackers fired aerial shots. They also took away the keys to Qureshi’s car, preventing an immediate chase.
Investigation Progress
The police have initiated an active investigation. Authorities are analyzing CCTV footage to identify and capture the assailants.
As of Thursday evening, no First Information Report (FIR) had been filed regarding this incident.
