LAHORE — Rickshaw drivers in Lahore can now acquire learner’s licences every Sunday at the Manawan Centre. This initiative, announced by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi, aims to facilitate drivers and enhance adherence to traffic regulations.
Promoting Compliance and Convenience
CTO Shirazi emphasized the importance of complying with traffic laws. The special Sunday licensing is a strategic measure designed to encourage safer driving practices. This service enables rickshaw drivers to obtain necessary documentation without interfering with their weekly work routines.
Enhancing Road Safety
This initiative is part of a broader effort by Lahore’s traffic police to streamline regulatory processes and improve road safety. Authorities expect that these measures will reduce traffic violations and lead to smoother traffic flow throughout the city.
