ISLAMABAD — The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Monday, June 15, to sight the Muharram-ul-Haram 1448 AH moon, marking the start of the new Islamic year.
The meeting will be chaired by Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad at Iqbal Hall, located within the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, as per the official announcement. Simultaneously, the Islamabad Zonal Committee will hold its meeting after Maghrib prayers at the Kohsar Block.
The decision regarding the sighting of the Muharram-ul-Haram moon will be based on testimonies received from various parts of the country.
