ISLAMABAD — The Pakistani Rupee appreciated by 3 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading on Wednesday, closing at Rs 278.27 from the previous day’s rate of Rs 278.30.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the dollar’s buying and selling rates in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.00 and Rs 279.35, respectively. Meanwhile, the Euro’s value against the rupee decreased by Rs 0.23, closing at Rs 322.96, as per figures from the State Bank of Pakistan.
The exchange rate for the Japanese Yen remained steady at Rs 1.73, while the British Pound saw a minor increase of Rs 0.02, closing at Rs 373.37. The Emirate Dirham’s rate was unchanged, ending the day at Rs 75.77, and the Saudi Riyal slightly fell by 1 paisa to close at Rs 74.15.
