RAWALPINDI — The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) has finalized a thorough cleanliness plan to maintain a clean and hygienic environment across the city during Muharram-ul-Haram. This initiative was implemented on the directives of RWMC Chief Executive Officer Rana Sajid Safdar.
All operational staff have been tasked with carrying out regular inspections of the routes of Muharram processions, Imambargahs, and other venues. The inspections aim to ensure that these areas remain free from waste and hygienic throughout the religious observance period.
The plan underscores RWMC’s commitment to public health and environmental cleanliness, particularly during significant religious events when large gatherings are expected.
