RAWALPINDI — The Punjab Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department distributed educational scholarship cheques to deserving minority students during a ceremony on Thursday. The event was presided over by Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Ziaullah Shah and Additional Deputy Commissioner (HQ) Abdul Rehman Khan.
Scholarship cheques were awarded to both male and female students, affirming the provincial government’s commitment to supporting education within minority communities. The initiative is part of broader efforts to promote educational opportunities and inclusivity in the region.
The ceremony emphasized the importance of education for societal progress and aimed to alleviate financial barriers faced by minority students in pursuit of their academic goals.
