PESHAWAR — Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday emphasized that sectarianism is detrimental to Islam, Pakistan, and the Muslim Ummah. He urged unity among Muslims as a critical necessity.
Governor Kundi called on religious scholars and spiritual leaders to actively promote harmony and cohesion within the society. He stressed that fostering unity is essential to counteract the divisive elements harming communal peace.
His comments were made during an address commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat, where he underscored the importance of solidarity within the Muslim community to safeguard its interests against those seeking to sow discord.
