ISLAMABAD — Police commandos and officials from Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) transported physical boxes containing copies of the FY2026–27 federal budget into Parliament House on Monday.
Tight security measures were in place as the budget documents were delivered, ahead of the presentation in the National Assembly. Security personnel were on high alert outside the Parliament House to ensure the safe transfer of the sensitive materials.
The budget presentation is a significant event in the legislative calendar, with the National Assembly set to review the financial plan for the upcoming fiscal year.
