The award ceremony took place at the Ibrahim Joyo Auditorium, Liaquat Library, with senior officials present to honor Sindh’s sporting champions.
Sindh Athletes Secure 92 Medals
Sindh athletes excelled by securing 92 medals at the National Games 2025 held in Karachi from December 6 to 12. This championship marked its return after an 18-year gap.
Competitors demonstrated their skills across various sports disciplines throughout the week-long tournament, achieving outstanding results.

Cash Awards Distribution Ceremony
The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs organized the ceremony to honor the medalists. Sindh Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar served as the chief guest.
Notable dignitaries included DIG Traffic Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, Director Sports Asad Ishaq, and Sindh Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput.
The event highlighted the province’s commitment to supporting athletes through financial incentives, fostering sports development in Sindh.
Hosting the Championship After 18 Years
Mahesar addressed the challenges of hosting the National Games after an 18-year hiatus. This significant task was efficiently managed by Sports Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar.
Strong support from Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and the Chief Secretary ensured the successful execution of the multi-sport event across Karachi venues.
Security and Hospitality Praised
Athletes and officials praised Sindh’s hospitality during the tournament, which was crucial to the event’s success.
