LAKKI MARWAT — At least two individuals were killed and several others injured following a suspected suicide blast near a mosque in Khairo Khel Pakka village on Friday, according to local authorities.
Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat confirmed the fatalities as eight-year-old Asma Bibi and 25-year-old Asad Ali. Emergency response teams were dispatched immediately after reports of the explosion surfaced, said rescue officials. They provided first aid to the injured before moving them to District Headquarters Hospital Tajazai for further medical treatment.
Authorities are continuing response and assessment activities as investigations into the nature and circumstances of the blast remain ongoing. More details are expected following the completion of current assessments.
